Well, the NDP want to increase our cost of doing business? Yes , I am bias. I KNOW THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PASS ALONG THIS TO MY CLIENTS. THEY ARE BALKING AT INCREASES NOW. How will you deal with an increase in the minimum wage to $10.00 per hour and then plus employer expenses? Will it cost you business? Will you be able to pass it along immediately?

As a new company, I can say that right now it is tight. This will take most of the profit, so that is were the money will be coming from.
I think it hurts service industries more, because the people/customers, already only feel that they sort of need us. If we had their car in the garage bay, they would pay. It is a lot harder to scrape off the wax if they do not... but very tempting. Ed

The worst part is the politicians believe that as a business, you can just automatically pass this increase along to the customer. They do not understand that in this economy, price increases are not well received and when you are a smaller independant, this may lead to loss of business. The politicians simply want to garner votes as everyone wants more money.

Why not ?
"Do unto others as you would like to do unto yourself ". Bill the bottom line is money, we are all here for money.
It is time that the industry knows our worth. Who decides how much a Janitor is worth ?
Isn't the Janitor the most important person in any business!
" To love someone is to act on behalf of them "
Speak for your employee.. money will come.
